Health / Physical Education

Health and Physical Education at Cranbourne West Secondary College is closely aligned with the Victorian Curriculum to ensure the delivery of the desired learning outcomes to our students.

Personal Well-being (Health)
In personal well-being, students are investigating how to understand themselves and those around them. With a focus on being respectful and inclusive, students are developing an understanding of how changes in their own lives can impact the relationships they have with others and then identifying strategies to promote their own well-being and support those around them.

Physical Education
Is the acquisition of movement skills, concepts and strategies to enable students to confidently and competently participate in a range of physical activities. The Cranbourne West Physical Education program aims to promote positive attitudes towards a healthy lifestyle while promoting fair play, respectful relationships and inclusivity within a practical environment. Students will be given the opportunity to develop a range of motor skills in individual, group, and team sports whilst always striving to develop high standards of sportsmanship.
